Thousands of skiers ditched their heavy winter clothing for hot bikinis and trunks as they hit the slopes in cold Russia. The annual ski festival ‘BoogelWoogel’ is thought to have attracted 20,000 fans just over the weekend. Olympic resort Rosa Khutor in Sochi National Park hosted BoogelWoogel ski event in which the participants descend down the slope in bikinis and swim-suits.
The festival started last Thursday and runs until Monday, and is believed to have attracted more than 20,000 visitors in its second year of maintenance.
The participants of the event enjoy good music, swimming pools and the celebration of the “festival of colors”.
Brave men have resisted the cold to enter the Guinness Book of Records for the largest number of skiers in bathing suits, and it seems that each year they have surpassed the previous one, meaning they get over 1,200 annual participants.
In addition to entertaining clips from the ski slopes, the spectators also enjoy these photos of beautiful skier.
