13th Century old-Slavic Church

Kargapol, Russia. This old church standing on the plain, is open to wind and weather, and the wasteland spreads around for many kilometres. The church is dated 1655, being one of the oldest architectural monuments of the Arkhangelsk region. Right now we are going to have a closer look at it and visit the neighbouring village, Saunino, where one more equally old church complex is situated.
