YUGO But The Car Doesn't? You Won't Laugh When You See The YUGO GT 5000 Concept!

I do not think we’re the only one, because no one expected the new Yugo in a conceptual form, just like the Spanish Inquisition…The Yugo GT 5000 concept is made by Michael Merkler Design, and of course it’s only about renderers that represent a vision that could look like the modern Yugo 311 (Flag 101) writes portal Automobili.

Interestingly, this “concept” is not intended to be an EV (electric vehicle), as it usually happens with all the visions that present a modern version of the legendary “retro” vehicles. Let’s just remember how it was with e.g. Honda Urban EV, which was introduced in Frankfurt last year, or the vision of Renault 4 – 4X4 Concept HQ , which has raised a lot of dust on our social networks because of the former popularity of the original “four”.

At the Behance network in his portfolio, a young Designer from Gostivar in Northern Macedonia even wrote some “technical characteristics” that the GT 5000 should have. This is how the car is compared to the size of the Chrysler C 300. Of course, when imagination does anything, then a 5.0-liter V8 engine of 600 horsepower with a seven-speed automatic transmission under the hood of this “resto-mode” car.

The expected acceleration of such a car would be 2.8 seconds to 100 km / h, and would develop a maximum speed of over three hundred an hour (more precisely 322 km / h). Imagine what it would be like a bug from Yuga … To get that power to the road, this hatchback is set to four (and more) than 20 “wheels wrapped with tires 265 mm wide.

The more you say than see the gallery and let us know if you like this modern vision or is the original still irritating to you?

What do you think?
