Children Meeting Their Beloved Russian Santa

Everybody loves Santa right? In Russia and actually in most Slavic countries Santa is called Ded Moroz or Deda Mraz and it has it’s roots in Slavic mythology. However this is not the point this time as we want to show you a funny situation from last year where young Russian kids were meeting Ded Moroz behind iron bars. The whole photo shoot was hilarious as pictures appeared on the local Russian forums and websites.

Children were hyped out to see him, however Santa felt more safer behind the Iron bars

He was handshaking their little hands that were poking out of the rusty iron fence

Oh the smiles on their face while trying to reach this warm fatherly figure behind the bars

Santa was a real star that night!
