Creative Yekaterinburg shopping mall fights sanctions

These days it’s hard to start a business, even more so if your country is fighting a economical crisis. Just another similar story comes from the Russian town Yekaterinburg, where they opened a large mall called “Passage” in hope to attract numerous brands to open their shops there. However from late 2015. when it was opened till today, most of the mall stands empty. Russian youtuber VATHANALIYA has made a walk through the mall and found out that malls administration has found a “smart” way to fight these “crisis” problems. They decided to “fake it, until they make it” or to be more precise the started to covered up empty storefronts with picturesque illustrations of fully stocked stores and flourishing businesses.
