Creepy ‘Blue Whale’ Game Has Driven Over Hundred Teens To Suicide In Russia

Online game in which participants are purportedly assigned a curator who provides various acts of self harm

There is a disturbing trend among teenagers called ‘Blue Whale Challenge’, also known as the Blue Whale suicide game. The creepy part is the game turns young unsuspecting teens to engage in a game that will cause them to self harm and eventually even suicide to win the game. The disturbing game starts by teens agreeing to play the game, being assigned a curator that will lead them thought it with various assignments over the course of 50 days.

When they are close to 50 days in game, on the final day, the curator will force the teen to commit suicide to win the game or else he would blackmail the teens he would release various explicit information to their parents that he collected during the 50 days course. Some reports say that over 100 teen suicides have been linked to the game, no direct evidence has been found.

Arrested Philipp Budeikin, 21, from Russia claims he invented the sick suicide ‘game’ to ‘cleanse the society’. Thankfully the Russian authorities are cleaning the whole circle of those involved while the court is holding him charged of inciting at least 16 schoolgirls on suicide.
