Croatia Has Its First Female President

Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, the first Croatian female president sworn with the oath as Croatian president and began her five-year mandate today on the square of St. Mark in Zagreb. The sacred oath ends with the words “So help me God” which was followed by thundering applause and chanting of the crowd Croatia, Croatia“, and after Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović signed the Presidential oath and received the presidential ceremonial sash. The first female Croatian president said in her inaugural addressed to all citizens of Croatian that they live with pride but also conscious of their responsibility she will take the presidential office as one of the responsibilities, and she will do her best for Croatia to become better and more prosperous country to live in. She said that her given oath commits her to serve the Croatian people and all Croatian citizens.
