Cicvara reminds of a dish cooked in some regions of Ukraine called 'mamalyha'. The dish came from Moldova or Romania. In Romania it's known as mămăligă.

This is from Moldovan cuisine

3 glasses of milk (sheep, goat or cow)
1 glass of cornflour
8-9 spoon melted butter . That what the recipes states
The kind of cheese similar to Fetta. It's called 'brynza' in east Slavic languages. Brynza may also be a Romanian loanword.

My favourite porridge is made of buckwheat. :)
