I wouldn’t be out of line if said Poles, Ukrainians, and Croats have a special bond and relationship here in Pennsylvania. Our Slavic heritage does unite us and it’s not uncommon for organizations from all three groups to cooperate and create events together. The three of us are, by far, the largest representatives of the Slavic communities in all of Pennsylvania and our heritage goes back well over a century to the industrial revolution and turning Pennsylvania into a production powerhouse in Steel that dwarfed anything else in the world. All three of our communities played enormous roles in that and contributed to the AMERICAN identity of Pennsylvania too. It’s a point of pride for all three communities :)
