@Dušan I lived in Dúbravka in Bratislava for six months  and I used to go to daily Mass and Sunday Mass there sometimes. Weekday mass, not even Sunday Mass, would be packed many times and not just with old people. In Bratislava on Sunday you can find masses from like 5 in the morning to 11 in the evening at all hours of the day. People always ask why Czechs and Slovaks never stayed together but probably the biggest and most massive difference between us and them is because of the fact that they are so secular and Slovaks so believing, it affects the entire culture.

My mother’s side of the family were actually Slovak Lutheran’s , I mean there still are quite a lot of Lutheran’s but Slovakia is largely Catholic as a whole, and most Slovaks one way or another usually still go to church and everythjng, not all but a significant number of young people still practice the faith.

Where have you been in Slovakia Dušan? I’m actually headed to Trnava today
