Interesting thread, I’ve never really researched too much about Slovaks in Serbia. Very interesting to read about the dialect and that people still speak the language. Some of your dialect is also similar to my father’s dialect from Nitra. Ništ , Kéry, words ending in l pronounced as v such as in povedal som being pronounced povedav som. Very interesting. Btw zadok in slovak can also be riť, riť being more like english ass and zadok as butt.

Zdravo is Serbian but it’s also very common to greet with zdravim in Slovak which is similar. Zdravim is probably the original way to say hello in Slovak. Ahoj comes from English and if I’m correct I believe nazdar is originally Czech.
