 I presume that “our fellow Slav brothers” are Serbs but 
I’m trying to think which events are you refering to, and can’t think of any. Is it the period after the WWI when Serbs had opportunity to take a huge chunk of Croatia but they choose not to. Or maybe the period after the WWII when Croatia, as a Fascist state, not only didn’t get penalized, but thanks to Slavic brothers, got back the whole Istria and the half of Dalmatia coast, that Croatian Fascist Government gave away to Italians.
