Same as Slovakia, right? But I am talking only about Podkarpatie/Zakarpatie, that land was never been eastern Slavic, never was in Kievska Rus. In 9th century it was part of Great Moravia, then since 10th century part of Uhorsko. Where where did you get that it was part of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and it became part of Uhorsko in late 18th century, it was in uhorsko since 10th till end of it.
And culture and language seems to be closer to Slovakian than Ukrainian in my opinion. See for old people there, because since 1945 they were Ukrainized. Thanks to Stalin, who take part of Czechoslovakia as a gift from us to him for saving us.
