Slovakian, Czech and Polish economies are on the rise and this, of course, means that show business will also get amped up. It is high time that Slavs started to tell their own stories and not have Anglos do it. For one, later this month, on the 26th I believe, the film "Bitwa Warszawska 1920" comes out. It will be a dramatization of the Polish-Ukrainian victory in 1920 against the Bolsheviks. The director, Jerzy Hoffman is kind of an old hat, but he employed acclaimed cinematographer Sławomir Idziak, so the film has world potential I think. Idziak has worked with Ridley Scott and is respected in Hollywood.
For the most part, Hollywood is bullshit, but special effects and cinematography-wise they are top-notch
