It should be promoted. Instead , a many crazy people are attracted to pagan religion bringing bad image to the religion of our ancestors. We already celebrate many pre-christian celebrations not realising they are pagan in origin. In Belarus – Kupalle, Dziady, Maslenitsa, Hukanne viasny, Jur’ja, Rasalle, Bahach and many others. These celebrations are not recent or made up. We have sacred stones some surrounded by fences.  We have traditional songs with many pagan elements.

Here’s a song in which people appeal to Perun. The song was recorded by ethnographers in the 19th century performed recently.
