If we analyse each word in the text we will find each word is present in other Slavic languages in one form and another. The words may have slightly different meanings – semantics. Usually, we don’t recognise Slavic words due to phonetic shift that occurred in the last 1,500 years. Among European languages Slavic are most similar to each. Macedonian and Russian of Karelia may have a decent conversation, while English and Dutch will not. Even Latvian and Lithuanian languages are as different as Russian and Czech.
