@Sviatogor Agreed. What are your toughts on a common alphabeth, as described above, though?
I believe Slovenian is classified as a “western south Slavic language”, so I guess someone noticed the difference. Still, our closest neighbour is definitely kajkavian and I suppose we’re classified as south Slavic because of the dialect continuum. We would probably be west Slavic were it not for the Austrians and the Hungarians though.
Hah, interesting tidbit, the surname Vovk is fairly common in Slovenia.
