@aaaaa If we had a strong, independent government in living memory, maybe I would have agreed a bit more with international isolation. But we don’t and haven’t had since the royalist times. So I’m actually for a federalisation of the EU, as long as the wild liberalism currently dominating the political circles is put in check.

@”Rex Hatson” I haven’t heard of this movie until now, but it seems it’s not quite as bad and more factually incorrect than “The third half”. In any case, I’d say the Bulgarian idea in Macedonia was broken before WWII, more like 1903. Of course, the Bulgarian idea continued existing in Macedonia after that, until it was finally killed by the commies, but the one that broke its back, IMO, was failing to declare war and take active participation in the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie uprising.
