We eat ajvar mostly only with meat from žar. That includes čevapi and no, it's not hot though you can get hot spicy ajvar here too. Ofc, we also eat onions with it but also other fresh vegetables like tomatos and peppers. That all is salted and with pumpkin oil over it.

True here in SLO when there is čevapčiči party you have many combo's avalible at the table. ;D
