In traditional Belarusian cuisine pierogi are also known as kalduny. There are differences between varieniki, pierogi and kalduny. But those are minor variations.

Belarusian chaladnik is always made with some beetroot. Beetroot kvass maybe added to yoghurt too. Tatarotor is similar too.
