The businesses involved with tracing ancestries tend to scam and dupe a lot of people. There are some that don’t even do real research but just make suppositions based on already existing genetic testing of general populations ( you can merely look that up on the internet now instead of paying them hundreds of dollars to do it). There are the legit places that will actually put your biological-genetic information into their data base and compare so you get authentic individual results but their scope of accuracy is limited and can only show information for a fraction of your total ancestry. Ancestry is largely psychological which is why these companies make so much money doing it. They can give you comparatively little information but that might just be enough for you to ‘settle on it’ and run with it all the way the bank.
