In colloquial Russian also ‘чо’ (cho) is used. In northern dialects of certain villages ‘tso’ (as in Polish and Czech). ‘Chto’ is only in written form. Usually it is ‘schto’ (што) in spoken language.

In Ukrainian it can be either ‘що’ (‘sho’ – literary standard) or ‘шо’ (‘scho’).

What can also be translated as ‘jakoj’ (якой) in Belarusian or ‘kakoj’ (какой) in Russian. As in ‘what colour’
