Ukrainians chose ten favourite dishes from Ukrainian national cuisine, which were included on the menu of the restaurants in host cities of the European Football Championship 2012. There following Ukrainian dishes were chosen for the Euro 2012 : Ukrainian borscht, Zaporizʹkyy kapusnyak, salo (speck) with garlic, kholodetsʹ (jellied meat), deruny (potato pan-cakes), home-made sausages, nalisniki (crepes) with cottage-cheese, baked baby pig with buckwheat porridge, varenyky (pierogi) filled with cabbage and mushrooms, apple pie.
