Sauerkraut and Varenyky are easy enough to make at home. Make some tvaroh (cottage-cheese) from milk. It’s easy to make. Then add some egg yolk and raisins to tvaroh if you want. Raisins are optional; they add sweet flavour. Make firm dough by adding some eggs, salt and water to flour. Then rest the dough for 30 minutes.
