If you like this you should check out Wooden Articular Churches in Slovakia (Artikulárne kostoly). The church had to be built entirely of wood, without the use of nails, without the main entrance to the village, without towers, had to be built in one year. This rules applied for evangelical churches in upper Hungary (present day Slovakia) in late XVII century and in early XVIII century. Some of them are still standing and are well preserved, I visited one in Hronsek last year.
