I've no idea about regional differences and influences  in Slovenia. Looking at Y-chrosome
haplogroup distribution Slovenes do come close to Czechs from having  an elevated frequencies of R1a and R1b.  Slovenes and Czechs may have the highest frequency of R1b among all Slavic populations. I may look for a paper on Czech population.
