Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia have a long history of common statehood

Macedonia was liberated/conquered by Kingdom of Serbia in 1912/13 and from then until 1991 was a part of common state with Serbia

Kingdom of Montenegro joined Kingdom of Serbia in 1918 post WW1 and from then until 2006 was a part of common state with Serbia

But today there is a Albanian problem in all three countries (as many as two and a half million Albos live in these three countries) as well as Kosovo which territorially divides most of the common border between Serbia and Macedonia.
