The “editing” of Miladinovi’s song compilation is explained well enough in the Wiki page GLK linked to. As for Talev’s “editing”: search for “Zhelezniot svetilnik” by publishing house Arlekin (or any of the older Macedonian editions) and compare it to any of the originals (even available online) – you’ll find not only that all instances of “Bulgarian” have been automatically replaced with “Macedonian”, but there’s even a hundred pages missing, because apparently the simple replacement of names doesn’t always make sense. I think such things clearly show who’s suffering from post-communistic illnesses.
