The best tasting Boletus is young boletus. They are also more expensive. Shampinioni grown on mushroom farms I tried didn’t taste as good as boletus or other mushrooms picked in forsts. I also like Gruzd (Lactárius résimus) found in western Siberia and Ural. It’s crunchy and well suited for pickling.
