@srdceleva I don’t think it has much to do with religion, I think it comes with particular mentality and industrialization. I’m aware of those elections results. They voted 62% for the Democratic Party, not democracy, it wasn’t a yes or no referendum for the country system. From today’s perspective it can be seen as that, but not back then.
Most interesting thing about Czecho-Slovak relations to me is the actual break up of the country as I read in multiple sources that majority of Slovaks (~60%) didn’t actually want it, it was decision of the Slovak parliament and they just went meh.
