This is not traditional Ukrainian dish. It was created by a chief in a restaurant borrowing the recipe from French cuisine – Côtelette de volaille.
In fact Chicken Kiev is not cooked by common people of Ukraine often. It’s a popular in restaurants and some families in eastern and central European countries.
