Why do we still teach our children about Santa? Why do we still read them thousands-of-years-old fairy-tales
There’s a big difference between fairy-tales and religious beliefs. See, my grandaunt is very religious and attends church. Nobody in my neighborhood talks about three little pigs to me, but she still occasionally (read “almost every time we meet”) tells me about God and angels. She and my grandma still put angel figures on graves. Why don’t they put figures of three little pigs there instead? There are people who believe in angels or in literal interpretation of the Bible. Like for example the Noah’s ark that he literally put 2 of each kind on the ark. Not everyone is so lucky to meet @srdceleva to tell them it wasn’t meant literally. If someone believes in fairy-tale-like stuff, it’s not just a tradition. It’s dangerous!
