Complete agreement.  Brings an interesting story about St. Augustinus, who had trouble converting from Greco-Roman paganism because he believed at the time that all Christians took every story literally.  However, when he asked the Bishop Ambrosius of Mediolanum about this, Ambrosius told him that no, no one should take everything in the Bible literally by using the example of the Prophet Jonah, who most certainly did not spend three days in the belly of a fish without being digested.
