There’s a word zheludok in Russian and a similar word in Ukrainian. Zheludok is part of stomach (zhivot). Zheludok in Latin is ‘gaster’.Zhivot includes zheludok and guts below.

I am aware that in OCS and proto-Slavic life was zhivot. I am curious when the term ‘zhivot’ lost its original meaning in east Slavic languages. :)
