@aaaaa unless -ovic suffix became characteristic for Hungarian I think it is. There was even Sanković noble family in medieval Bosnia. Who ever was that Szankovitz in Hungary, his surname clearly states he’s descendant of a Slavic guy named Sanko. Magyarization wasn’t unsuccessful.
