Here’s a fantastic article on the subject. Reading through, it mentions the wide variety of spices used in different Tex-Czech sausages: paprika, marjoram, caraway seed, nutmeg, etc. My grandfather cooked with all of those frequently. At least one of them was in almost everything he cooked, hahaha
