I see I should have add two things when I mentioned these two periods:

1. When the World War II ended, not everyone accepted the communist regime, so they kept fighting.

2. In 1956 the first leader of PRL, Bolesław Bierut, who was Stalin’s puppet, died. The leader changed, as well as the politics. Although the only good thing about Władysław Gomułka is that he was not Bierut.
