Olga Kysil

My local Orthodox Church’s large donors board. My ancestors were among the founders of this church. Here is my Uncle Ivan (John in USA) sandwiched between Macedonians, Serbians, Bulgarians, Russians and other Ukrainians. He even has a different font than the others. What’s up with that? Anyway, my Uncle John paid for icons, chandeliers, etc. which were imported from Russia. He also bequeathed large sums to the Church which is why he and the others are memorialized on the board. I’m proud of him. From a peasant in Volyn to wealth in America. I think he did more with his life than me and he had much less opportunities than me. I need to work harder, I guess.
