    We’ve already had this topic. :D
    My favorite cartoon is probably Tom & Jerry (if you don’t count The Simpsons). From Slavic cartoons, probably Pat and Mat.

    When I was a kid I really liked Čudesna Šuma (The Elm-Chanted Forest/Fantasy Forest in Canada and USA), Croatian-Canadian cartoon from ’86. It’s about a painter who gets magical powers in his brush and learns animal tongue after sleeping under an elm tree. With those powers he helps the forest creatures to defeat the evil Cactus King. It’s pretty funny and has some surreal and psychedelic moments.

    This reminded me of something, Croatians always use different dialects for some characters for both dubbing cartoons and making them, which makes them more distinct and funnier. Here everybody speaks with same urban Belgrade accent unless they have some speech disorder, but then it’s still Belgrade accent with a disorder. How it’s done in your country?

    @Dušan

    I’d say using dialects in cartoons is a two edged sword. It can enforces stereotypes. But it can be cool when it is done well.

    Count Duckula, along with The Real Ghostbusters, are my two absolute favorites from childhood. Duckula was brilliant.

    @Karpivna this just reminds me of He-man theme song :D and one underground Serbian punk song Himen (He-man and Hymen are written and pronounced the same in Serbian), with He-man compilation in the video, song isn’t about He-man…

    @Dušan She Ra is He-Man’s cousin or something, hahaha. Also, that Corgoth pilot was epic.
