The exhibition is titled "Firearms and blank weapons from the stocks of the Regional Historical museum of Shumen (XVIII-mid-XX century)", Severina Yorgova, museum's Public Relations curator told for Focus radio – Shumen.

The blank weapons were manufactured in factories in Germany, Austria-Hungary, Russia. Some of them are the workmanship of Bulgarian masters dating back to Bulgaria's National Revival period.

Among the exhibited firearms are rifles, pistols, and machine guns from the National Revival period, the Serbo-Bulgarian, the Balkan, the First and the Second World Wars. The weapons were used by the armies of Bulgaria, Turkey, Germany, Russia, and the USSR, respectively.
