Two of them alone on woody Island have to defeat each other. They have no equipment except what they find scattered in woods from weapons to gear.

Question is – Who wins the fight?

This topic calls for a poll.

As for who would win: Putin is so small and Klitschko is so TALL.  If Klitschko is able to find Putin around his knees, he would win handily. BUT, Klitschko could end up just flailing away at the air, while Putin topples him by beating his ankles with tree branches.

Just wondering, you heard about David and Goliath?  Anyway, boxers do bot far good against judo fighters.

Putin would win, b/c the government and media would arrange it to happen that way  ;D

Putin is a well educated and intelligent former KGB officer has been the  leader of a powerful country in the last 15 years. Klitchko spent most of his time in gym training.

The comparison is similar to that of an elephant and a whale. Whale is stronger in water, while elephant is stronger on the ground.  It'd depend how we compare the two: on the ring  it's no contest in favour of Klitchko. In leadership, management and politics Putin wins .

Here's my step-by-step guide to surviving (and winning) one-on-one encounters on small wooded islands:

1: Fashion youself a weapon – a big stick is fine, sharp and pointed is even better.
2: Find out about the island's topology and where you are – might be as easy as climbing up a tree, bonus points if you manage to spot your opponent.
3: Choose a suitable area and secure it by placing several traps, shallow pits with stakes smeared with your own feces should work well.
4: Locate your enemy while avoiding being located yourself.
5: Strike from the back or while your opponent is sleeping or otherwise not paying attention, be wary of surprises.
6: If anything goes wrong, retreat to the area with the traps and try to lure your opponent into them (all of them if you can).
7: Improvise – if at any point you see an opportunity to take your opponent out or secure and advantage – take it. Also, adapt to the situation.

Happy hunting.

Someone who is a world boxing champion for years is definitely not stupid. It takes a kind of intelligence to read your opponent in the ring, find out his weakness and defeat him.Kličko is definitely a cunning foe.
Most of judo's power comes from moves that grab the opponent's kimono. If the adversary wears none like most boxers, the judoists repertoire becomes much more limited.

Some former heavy weight champions such as Mike Tyson is a nutcase, while other are intelligent.

Putin practises Judo for general fitness. He is featured in media to get publicity or to promote the sport. Several politicians from Russia and Belarus along with former professional ice-hockey players play ice-hockey occasionally.  So, I don't believe Vladimir Putin is not much of a Judo wrestler in comparison to professional wrestlers.

True,But Kličko proved himself time and again as a foghter that uses his brain. Most of his opponents can't outsmart him in the ring and that is why they lose.
