Polish government has finalized plans to get two nuclear reactors online by 2025 with their locations decided by 2016.
The cost of the investment, estimated at about 50 million zloty (11.8 billion euro) is to be shared by several public companies.
"Nuclear energy is a sensible way to proceed, however, it is not a panaceum to the problems of our power industry," Hanna Trojanowska, Poland's first ever nuclear energy minister told Polish Radio following the presentation.
Danuta Isler reports.

As the physics professor I can only tell this is the most SMART decision your country could ever do. It has millions of positive things and non bad. Best for the nature, more independent from foreign oil… and you people will save tons of money,.. in Slovenia nucl.power plant provides for 1/3 of the country and big part of Croatia. Electricity is so cheap… I am very happy about Poland!
