    No Ukrainians there?

Sokil, Ukrainians attend the Slavica fest, but the Slávnosť predkov fest attend only those organizations which keep in touch with the organizers of this festival : SHO – Slovenské hnutie obrody (Slovak revival movement). SHO has no fellow organization in Ukraine yet.

All the same as in case of Ukrainians. Slavica fest – yes, Slávnosť predkov – no.

Slavica Fest seems like a nice and well-organized event. ;)
I have a question about Slavnost Predkov…what is the case with Morava? Can someone please explain this part? Is it related to old Slavic state or something else?

There isn't anything with historical Moravia, neither today's Morava at that fest. Slávnosť predkov isn't linked to any special occasion, it's just about our ancestors and their life.
Moravian flag and a motto Za Moravu in the picture is only a later modification of original pictures. Why Moravian organization made it in this way, I don't know.. it wasn't their fest, they were just invited.

It's said our Croatian gouverment isn't doing anything on this…they're too busy losing their roots and trying to rush into EU.

While in same time theres a bunch of Roman Gladiator Shows in Croatia, Dalmatia. Fools are playing to be roman now, during ww2 we tried to be Goths, never what we really are… i'm disgusted by my own country at times tbh.

I'd like to ask our Ministry of Culture one big "wtf?". How do they even plan on having a historical continuity when they are enforcing Roman-Illyrian Dalmatia. If that is what Croatia is i don't see a reason why call it Croatia then since Croatia is a name that we we're given by our Slavic forfathers that founded the state and took the Dalmatia from Romans. If we're going to play that we're anything but Slavs, then why not rename the whole country into Dalmatia… because this way we look like a immature country in deep identity crisis showing to tourists "Roman" heritage isntead of Slavic, telling our roots are Gothic and Germanic instead of Slavic but in same time having a Slavic-Sarmatian name. If i was a tourist i would be like "wtf is happening in this country, who are these people on end?"

So as I see Slovaks, Slovenes, Poles, Czechs, Belorussians and Serbs are going to present their folklore. AKUDBranko Krsmanovic and KUD Petrovačka Družina are invited to present Serbia. Will surely be nice :), hopefully more Slavic nations will join with time.
