A DOMOVOI (or Domowik) is a house spirit in Slavic folklore. In Slavic mythology every house is said to have its own house dwarf.

The Kolowrat (Kolovrat, Collowrath) symbol is in modern ages considered as a panslavic pagan symbol of the Sun.

I'm looking to plan a trip to Poland/ and the Ukraine.
I will be going to Krakow for a week, and Kiev for a week.
Are there any Pagan sites or idols/artifacts to visit?

    Thanks for your help!
(I hope I'm posting this in the right forum!)
Point me in the right direction?

Unfortunately the sculpture of Svetovid standing on Babia Góra Mountain near the village Kościuki in the municipality of Choroszcz, Poland was damaged in 2009. A trace of a saw appeared at the point of contact between the main column and the image of four heads. Vandal didn't cut the wood to the end, that is why the head of the idol is still attached to the figure.

Apart from the head, the basis of sculpture was also damaged; special stone basis protecting the wood from rotting has been pried out from the ground. It looks as someone wanted to pull out Svetovid from the ground. Now the figure is exposed to dangerous humidity.

Figure of Svetovid is a copy of the statue of the Slavic deity found in Zbrucz, today Ukraine. Babia Góra Mountain was the centre of the old pagan cults. The sculpture was erected here in 1998.

That's cool. In Croatia we had few built this year also. It's either "hip" latley, or actually people started to like their culture.

I was really glad when you guys made that idol of Perun on Perun hill (or mountain, can't remember). Good to see something is happening besides building of hideous churches all over our country…
