    Kurt Hielscher was a German photographer and he traveled extensively around Europe in the 1910s, 1920s and 1930s, and was the author of several successful books with landscape and architecture photographs about Italy, Spain and Germany.

    Is that Tzar Samuel’s Castle on the hill top in the Ohrid photo?

    It looks really run-down and damaged, does that mean its restoration in 2003 actually restored the walls and gates at large?
