    "Bratstvo a svornost.
    Za kráľa a národ Slovenskí.
    Sláva! Šetkím Slovákom!"

    The king of Hungary?

Would be the only possibility. :D But why? I found this on vlastenec.sk (nationalistic webshop):
    http://vlastenec.sk/index.php?tovid=162&strana=1&psk=19&skc=8&#tovar/00162_01.jpg

    The translation:

    "Brotherhood and unity.
For the king and the slovak people.
    Glory to to all Slovaks!"

By the way.. is this some older Slovakian?

    Maybe just vintage fandom?

no, the flag is replica of the one used by štúr and his rebels during 1848/49 civil war. with the writing. štúr was allied with the emperor who also held title of king of hungary against hungarian revolution.

No, they added the blue colour between white and red to show their political orientation to Russia. In the revolution 1848/49 Slovaks used two flags, firstly the original white-red flag (or red-white, I'm not sure) which was/is used by many Slavs and then this one with the blue stripe.

So it's true.. the Poles, Czechs (incl. Moravians) and Slovaks have the same flag. :D I felt it.. deep inside of me.

So all living western slavic nations (Sorbs are nearly dead lol) have one flag!  ;D
