The Toronto-area-built Conquest Knight XV mega-SUV has been called a lot of things since it thudded onto the luxury auto market in 2008: best car in which to survive the zombie apocalypse, Hummer-killer and, in the words of a bystander who approached a Globe and Mail car reviewer last year, “just gross.”
Now the six-tonne $629,000 truck has a new and somewhat dubious résumé entry. Anti-government protesters in Ukraine have seized a Knight XV and 11 other vehicles believed to belong to a son of ousted president Viktor Yanukovych, according to BBC and several other outlets.

And to think that this was all paid for by Ukrainian budget courtesy of Ukrainian taxpayer. It makes me sick to my stomach to see! I cannot believe this piece of **** still has audacity to speak publicly about himself still being legitimate president of Ukraine after him and his banda of criminals sucked all the blood out of that country! And then on top of that, he claims those who had enough of watching their tax money go to anything but what tax money should have been going for and rebelled are nothing but fascists!
If he had any honour, he would take his own life out of shame. I cannot understand why those idiots in the East still support him when their tax money also was spent on gigantic estates, hundreds of luxurious cars like this one (when he has one fat ass and one car should be enough) and such opulence in those estates, that with that money alone, they could probably replace/repair every single railway and road in the country!March 12, 2014 at 10:44 am #429977
I don't understand the need for this type of vehicles. As it showed now in the crisis where he was hunted down, his only escape was airplane or some undercover action where he's smuggled across the border. So i just don't get the idea behind this vehiclesMarch 13, 2014 at 6:51 pm #429978
