How Russian Oil Drill Arctic Operations Look Like

Drilling for oil is something Humans do and need, so Russian oil companies have a lot of Oil Drilling bases across the arctic that they reach with amazing technologically advanced ships such as atomic ice breaker and often use helicopters based on the ice breaker to reach drilling points. As it would be dangerous for atomic ship to dock near the drilling station all equipment, personel and every other delivery is made by helicopters and that brings us to our story.

You can see how one such Helicopter KA-32C operation looks like as today by Russian Federation exploration of oil Arctic regions is much more active then it was back in the time of Soviet Union. Enjoy the photos and story by Sergei Nikita!
