The Mountains Of Velebit Hide A True Croatian “Hobbiton” You Need To Visit

Croatia has something truly close to Hobbiton – and its located in the misty mountain of Velebit! Located in a village called Baške Oštarije, this magical place exist thanks to creative fantasy vision of the Žuženić family and their piece of art, Kamp Velebit! If you are a true fan of the Lord of the rings trilogy, make sure to visit this magical place, because it offers a whole different camping and outdoor experience.

Far from crowds, city lights and stink, fresh mountain air, starry sky, hiking trails, close by the sea… Sounds good? Other than crobbit houses and lovely outdoors, mountain of Velebit, which is also the largest mountain chain in Croatia, is a truly wonderful place to be.

If you’re a fan of festivals, this camp is a host of Mystic Mountain fest –  a project envisioned as a form of gathering, making memories, get creative and enjoy good company, music, food and dance!

As you can see having a fun camp party at night here is a thing you will never forget. Fresh air, warm nights, untouched nature and magically imbued camp will make it unforgettable.
