Future is here, the new high-tech cyborg-looking combat suits have been revealed on thursday at the opening of the largest Russian high-tech prototype center in Moscow reports RT.  The stunning super soldier combat suit (played Doom 4 game?) has made everybody drop their jaws. It is basically how Russian soldiers will look on future battlefields: futuristic, dangerous, cool and full of new-tech gadgets.

This suit also provides the soldiers a exoskeleton to increase their strengths, performance and even stamina during long missions. They secretly developed it on the Central Research Institute for Precision Machine Building, it is basically a place where Russian gathers a “think-tank” for future weapon designing and military-tech advancements

“We’re working on a concept for the combat suit of the future. On display is our vision of the suit we would like to develop within the next couple of years,” said Oleg Chikarev, deputy chief of weapons systems at the institute.

It is obvious, in future there will be more and more robots and human-machine cyborgs replacing average human soldiers of today. Exoskeletons, drones, robotized vehicles and similar is the future we are going to.

“I see a greater robotization, in fact, future warfare will involve operators and machines, not soldiers shooting at each other on the battlefield,” Lieutenant General Andrey Grigoriev, head of the Advanced Research Foundation (ARF)

If you wondered how this suit is called, well its a Slavic word “Ratnik” meaning warrior in English. So until the Ratnik suit is finished we’ll still be seeing regular soldiers on battlefields.

What do you think?
